Undiknas Becomes the Only Private University Selected to Implement the 2025 Garuda Transformation Excellent High School Enrichment Program
Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) continues to strengthen its position as an internationally competitive higher education institution. On September 4, 2025, another remarkable milestone was achieved in Undiknas’ journey toward becoming a World Class University.
Following a rigorous selection process conducted by the Directorate of Transformative Learning Strategies and Systems under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendikti Saintek RI), Undiknas was officially designated as the only Private University (PTS) in Indonesia selected to implement the 2025 Garuda Transformation Excellent High School Enrichment Program. (UI, ITB, Undiknas, Unpad & UNJ). The appointment is stated in the Decree of the Director General of Science and Technology No. 0366/D/HM.00.00/2025 dated September 3, 2025. The Rector of Undiknas was also specially invited to sign the contract and receive direct directives from the Director General of Higher Education.
In carrying out this program, Undiknas will focus on two clusters of excellent schools: SMA Cahaya Rancamaya Bogor and SMAN Banua, South Kalimantan. Undiknas’ involvement in these schools will open new opportunities for synergy between higher education institutions and secondary schools. Through mentoring, coaching, and enrichment activities, Undiknas will deliver a transformative learning experience oriented toward International Excellence and Competitiveness, supported by technology and research, and aligned with the demands of 21st-century education. Undiknas is committed to providing innovative learning approaches and impactful academic support.
Furthermore, the 2025 Garuda Transformation Excellent High School Program is a strategic initiative by Kemendikti Saintek RI aimed at strengthening the capacity of high schools to compete at the international level. This aligns closely with Undiknas’ Vision, Mission, and Milestones in strengthening international affiliations and contributing to the advancement of excellent secondary education in Indonesia.
The appointment of Undiknas as the implementer of the 2025 Garuda Transformation Excellent High School Enrichment Program reaffirms its role as a Campus of Impact with International Competitiveness. This program not only enhances Undiknas’ national standing but also serves as a concrete contribution of the university toward developing outstanding human resources in Indonesia.
