Undiknas Professional Engineer Program Participates in the 3rd National Congress and Seminar of FORKOM PPPI 2025
Manado – August 8, 2025 – The Professional Engineer Program Study (PS PPI) at Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) Denpasar confirmed its participation in the 3rd National Congress and National Seminar of the Indonesian Professional Engineer Program Organizers Communication Forum (FORKOM PPPI). This prestigious event was held from August 7–9, 2025, at the Auditorium of Sam Ratulangi University, Manado. The congress, themed “Building Engineer Professionalism to Enhance Productivity and Competitiveness Towards Indonesia Golden Era 2045,” served as a strategic platform for professional engineer program organizers across Indonesia to discuss, share best practices, and formulate concrete steps to address future challenges and opportunities.
The active participation of PS PPI Undiknas in this forum reflects the institution’s commitment to continuously improve the quality of professional engineering education and contribute to the national engineering discourse. This commitment was demonstrated through the presentation of three scientific papers in the parallel sessions of the national seminar:
- From Field to Negotiation Table: Application of Professional Ethics in the Variation Order Process by I Gede Widnyana;
- Improving Concrete Quality and Protection Against Water Penetration to Address Leakage by Laisita Meitya Ningrum;
- Framing Safety as an Investment: Implementation of SMK3 Cost Application in Clinic Construction Projects by Dewa Ayu Putu Adhiya Garini Putri.
Remarkably, two of these three papers were results of studies conducted by PS PPI Undiknas students in the regular program, highlighting the academic output quality and analytical skills of aspiring engineers trained at Undiknas.
The event was attended by key stakeholders in the fields of engineering and education, including keynote speakers such as the Chair of FORKOM PPPI, the Head of the Indonesian State Civil Apparatus Agency (BKN), Prof. Dr. Zudan Arif Fakrulloh, S.H., M.H., and the Chair of LAM Teknik Standing Board, Dr.-Ing. Ir. Mizri Gozan, M.Tech., IPU. Through this participation, PS PPI Undiknas aims to gain the latest insights, expand institutional collaboration networks, and bring innovative ideas to be implemented in engineering education programs in Bali, ultimately producing engineers ready to contribute to national development.
