Undiknas Hosts International Seminar: The Role of AI in Digital Transformation in Higher Education

Denpasar – Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) held an international seminar in response to the rapid development of technology and innovation in higher education. The seminar, titled “The Role of AI in Digital Transformation: Enhancing Academic Research and Innovation in Higher Education,” took place at the Dwi Tunggal Auditorium and was attended by students from various study programs within Undiknas.

Addressing a topic that is currently widely discussed across different media platforms, the seminar provided an in-depth exploration of the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in supporting digital transformation, particularly in advancing academic research and innovation in universities. The event featured keynote speaker Prof. Dr. Gokhan Silahtaroglu, a renowned academic and Dean at Medipol University, Turkey, widely recognized for his contributions in data science and digital innovation.

Moderated by Made Srinitha Millinia Utami, S.Kom., MIT, a lecturer at Undiknas specializing in information technology, the seminar was lively and dynamic, fueled by the high enthusiasm of the participants. Prof. Gokhan presented various potentials and challenges faced by higher education institutions in integrating AI technology, including improving research efficiency, enabling data-driven decision-making, and personalizing the learning process.
