ECU Students and Undiknas Conduct Visit to Bali Regency Health Office
Denpasar — Students from Edith Cowan University (ECU), together with Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas), conducted an educational visit to the Bali Regency Health Office as part of the New Colombo Plan 2025 program. The activity took place on October 6, 2025, as part of a hands-on learning experience and international collaboration initiative.
The visit aimed to provide students with a direct observation of medical case management for the people of Bali, including healthcare service systems, medical facility completeness, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) implemented by healthcare professionals in the region. Through this activity, students were expected to gain a more comprehensive understanding of local healthcare management.
During the visit, students received explanations about medical service workflows, the roles of healthcare personnel, and local government efforts to improve healthcare quality for the community. They also had the opportunity to see firsthand the supporting facilities used in medical service delivery.
This activity served as an important learning platform, especially for international ECU students, to understand Indonesia’s healthcare system while enriching their global perspective through cross-cultural and institutional interactions. For Undiknas, the visit strengthened international cooperation and demonstrated its commitment to supporting academic exchange and collaborative programs.
Through the New Colombo Plan 2025, it is hoped that sustainable synergy will be established between domestic and international universities, contributing positively to improving the quality of education and interdisciplinary understanding for students.
