Denpasar – The Bali Beyond Borders Program at Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) entered its fourth day on Thursday, November 7, 2024, focusing on recruitment and human resource (HR) management in the ASEAN region. The day’s activities concluded with a group project discussion facilitated by Ni Made Sumarningsih, S.Pd. During this session, participants discussed and formulated HR strategies they will present at the end of the program. Each group was encouraged to integrate insights from ASEAN HR practices into their strategies. This discussion provided a platform for participants to develop innovative solutions to HR management challenges in the ASEAN region, particularly in industries requiring adaptive and inclusive approaches like hospitality and tourism.
The fourth day of Bali Beyond Borders offered participants comprehensive insights into the dynamics of HR management in ASEAN. With a focus on cross-cultural recruitment and talent management, this experience enriched participants’ skills, preparing them for HR challenges in the global market.
The Bali Beyond Borders Program at Undiknas continues to provide a balanced learning experience of theory and practice. Through field visits and project discussions, participants are expected to design ASEAN-ready HR strategies, enhancing their readiness for global competition.
