Universitas Pendidikan Nasional Hosts the 10th International Conference on Smart Computing and Communication (ICSCC) 2024 in Collaboration with IEEE
Universitas Pendidikan Nasional, through the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics, successfully hosted the 10th International Conference on Smart Computing and Communication (ICSCC) 2024 in partnership with IEEE. The conference was held from July 25 to July 27, 2024, in a hybrid format, and took place in Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia, attracting researchers and experts from around the world.
Themed “Embracing Sustainability through Connected and Artificial Intelligence Initiatives,” ICSCC 2024 featured around 125 presenters from Indonesia, India, China, Malaysia, the Philippines, the USA, Thailand, Vietnam, Cyprus, Romania, and others discussing Smart Communication Systems, Smart Computing Systems, Smart Energy Systems, and applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Moreover, special sessions covered Machine Learning in Health Care, AI in Education, and Digital Applications in Finance and Business.
The conference opened with a vibrant ceremony, followed by keynote presentations from Prof. Tony Quek and Prof. Luh Putu Mahyuni. The second day continued with engaging talks from keynote speakers Prof. Ferdous Sohel and Dr. Saaveethya Sivakumar. Additionally, a tutorial class was conducted for students, academics, and professionals to enhance their skills in producing professional articles using digital applications. This tutorial, led by Dr. Wei Kitt Wong from Curtin University Malaysia, focused on the use of the Overleaf application for efficient document preparation. The tutorial received enthusiastic participation from conference attendees and students.
ICSCC 2024 fostered valuable exchanges of ideas, knowledge, and experiences among participants, fostering a collaborative and inspiring environment. The conference concluded on July 26, 2024, with awards of the best presenters in each track and special session, as well as the best top 10 papers.
